Day 1Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain ATV Tour

Our day will start early at 4:00 AM when we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco’s historic center. After the pick-up, we will drive for approximately two hours, heading south towards the town of Cusipata. Along the way, we will enjoy stunning views of the Andean landscapes.

At 7:00 AM, we will make our first stop for a hearty breakfast in Cusipata. After breakfast, we will drive for another 90 minutes to the ATV parking lot near Vinicunca. At 8:00 AM, we will arrive, and your guide will distribute the ATVs. You will receive a quick briefing on how to operate them.

By 8:10 AM, we will have a 10-minute practice session where we will get familiar with the ATVs. These vehicles are easy to handle, and the guide will help you adjust. After practice, at 8:20 AM, we will begin our thrilling ride. For the next 25 minutes, we will navigate through the scenic route.

Around 8:50 AM, we will arrive near the base of the famous Rainbow Mountain. The guide will give clear instructions on the best way to proceed. To reach the high part of the mountain, we will walk for 8 to 10 minutes. Those wishing to explore the lower section of the mountain can take a 5-minute walk instead.

After exploring Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, we will return to our ATVs and ride back to the parking lot. At 12:00 PM, we will enjoy a delicious lunch. Following lunch, we will begin our journey back to Cusipata and later return to Cusco.

We will arrive in Cusco by approximately 4:00 PM, concluding this breathtaking full-day adventure.

The Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain ATV Tour was the highlight of our trip to Peru. The ATV ride to the base of the mountain was super fun, and the walk to the top was incredible.
