We will ascend toward the Salkantay Pass at 4,650 meters sea level, the trek’s highest point. The trail will reward us with astonishing views of the snow-capped Salkantay Mountain. After crossing the pass, we will descend into the lush cloud forest, reaching Challway for a well-deserved rest. The climate will shift dramatically as we leave the Andean heights behind.
Our journey will continue through the tropical landscapes of Playa Sahuayaco, where we will encounter coffee and fruit plantations. We will reach Santa Teresa, famous for its thermal baths, where we will relax. This part of the trek will offer glimpses of wildlife and cascading waterfalls. A comfortable night in the warm jungle climate will refresh us.
We will trek to Llactapata, an incredible viewpoint of Machu Picchu, hidden among the mountains. Descending toward Aguas Calientes, we will walk along the railway, surrounded by exotic flora. Early morning
We will start the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu with private transportation from Cusco to Mollepata. Along the way, we will admire the breathtaking landscapes of the Apurímac Valley. After a short stop, we will continue to Soraypampa, located at 3,900 meters (12,795 feet). This high-altitude campsite offers incredible views of Salkantay Mountain and Humantay Mountain.
In the afternoon, we will hike to Humantay Lake, a stunning turquoise lagoon surrounded by snow-capped peaks. The ascent will challenge us, but the view will make it worthwhile. We will return to Soraypampa for a warm dinner and rest under the star-filled Andean sky.

We will wake up early to begin the most challenging part of the 5 Days Tour. The trail will ascend to the Salkantay Pass, the highest point of the trek at 4,650 meters (15,255 feet). As we walk, we will see waterfalls, exotic birds, and vibrant orchids. The temperature will gradually become warmer as we reach Challway, a peaceful spot surrounded by nature. After a long day, we will enjoy a well-earned dinner before resting.

After lunch, we will take private transportation to Santa Teresa, famous for its natural hot springs. We will have time to relax in the warm thermal waters before enjoying a delicious dinner. This day will be easier, allowing us to recover before the final approach to Machu Picchu Mountain.
